The nature of work has changed. The move to hybrid jobs is underway, and the developer community is uniquely equipped to reimagine experiences that enrich and fulfill employees’ wellness. Submit your entry for the Microsoft US Azure Hack for Wellness, where you’ll use your creativity, passion, and expertise to harness the power of Azure and Microsoft Teams technologies.

This hackathon will specifically focus on using Azure services to help organizations support their members’ well beings. Organizations could be businesses, schools, or communities. As a bonus, applications that integrate into Microsoft Teams will be eligible for additional prize considerations.  A qualified submission could be eligible for a Grand prize, Bonus Teams Integration prize, and Completion of Learning Path prize.

This hackathon encourages you to work on the topics that you’re passionate about. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • How would a healthy return to physical workspaces look like, for organizations or schools?
  • How could organizations develop ideas to keep track and support employees wellness?
  • How could an organization gamify wellness to encourage more participation and adoption of self care habits or routines?
  • What solutions are available to support a combination of wellness focus areas? (Example: emotional, environmental, mental, physical, social, spiritual, and financial well being)

We recognize that technology alone cannot solve all the challenges of well being, but our hope is that you’ll develop solutions that can help empower everyone and every organization to make an impact on wellness. Once you decide where you want to focus, Microsoft Azure is here to enable you to invent with purpose. From databases, to IoT, to responsible AI and everything in between, we will help you develop new skills and continue on your personal cloud development journey. Once you have your app idea, consider integrating into Microsoft Teams, with 115 million daily active users.
