Wellness Resources
Wellness is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as “the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.” This definition taken one step further indicates “a condition obtained when a person achieves a level of health that minimizes the chances of becoming ill. Wellness is achieved by a combination of emotional, environmental, mental, physical, social, and spiritual health”.
Wellness is not optional, or an afterthought, it needs to be integrated into a lifestyle of being aware of one’s well being. Employee wellbeing requires organizational support and understanding.
We’ve compiled a list of resources to help you get started on generating some ideas, but this list is not comprehensive. We encourage you to use this as a starting point for conducting your own detailed research on your selected wellness issue.
